U-Center gave me space. The center is in beautiful surroundings. The service staff are exceptional. The food is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The length of treatment was long enough for me to start to heal physically and mentally. At the center I had the chance to explore my past and relationships. I gained an education into my behaviors and thought processes. I was given space to talk about whatever I needed to talk about, and guided when I didn't know what to say. I was bought out of my comfort zone and re-introduced to fun. I was shown how I could reconnect to my body and the present through gentle movements and mindfulness. Some days were more difficult than others, but I always felt in safe hands with a wonderful team of socio-therapists, psychologists and holistic/arts practitioners. I left ~ two months ago with hope, motivation, practical tools and the ever growing ability to handle difficult days. Very grateful to have received treatment here.
