Huisarts Spetter, S.E.

For the last 10 months I have been struggling with this general practitioner. But unfortunately doctor Spetter doesn't know what he is doing. The last drop was when I described my flu symptoms to him and he said that probably I'm fixated. Meaning that it's a psychological problem. Well, I doubt he doesn't know flu symptoms, but here comes my main complaint about this health provider. He rarely listens to what you're saying, and if he does, he tries to ridicule that. He is in my opinion also very bad at analyzing symptoms and cannot put several of them in a bigger picture. But that's probably a consequence of him not wishing to hear you. Anyhow, after the last case I said to myself no way would I ever come there again. I always get kind and plenty of advice for free from the drug store medical workers, but never from doctor Spetter (although I pay for the service). So far I haven't received any advice from him as to how to improve my condition. Not a single bit. Several times he tried to deal with symptoms instead of finding the reason. A good example is that I had sinusitis which I couldn't prove to him, and as a consequence of that I had high blood pressure. Instead of dealing with my sinusitis, he was giving me pills for blood pressure, which naturally didn't help. And he is never eager to make any analyses, even though most of them are very quick and cheap. Then I somehow got better with over-the-counter medications and my blood pressure normalized on its own. Everything useful that I managed to get from his cabinet he did under my pressure since I couldn't cope with my condition further and with great reluctance on his side. Not being able to receive any help whatsoever from doctor Spetter regarding my condition I went to a different general practitioner who confirmed that my condition should be taken care of. He then called doctor Spetter and only after that could I get a letter to a specialist from him. My experience with this doctor is full of struggle and despair. You're better off without such medical "help". Unfortunately I cannot set negative ratings here, but when you're treated from a different decease, the one you don't have, or when you have to remain sick for months just because you're unable to prove anything, it means it's harmful what he is doing.
